Create a frog diorama
In your group, you will create a diorama representing one stage of a frog's life.
Ask your teacher for a shoe box to build your diorama in.
First, decide what stage you want to represent in your diorama. Next, you will want to decide what you want your diorama to look like. Draw a picture. Make sure that every member of your group is helping to make decisions and giving suggestions. Once you are ready to start making your diorama, you will need to make or find materials. The teacher will have some materials that you can choose from, you may make materials, bring things from home, find things outside, or anywhere else you can find things to use.
Work together as a group to build the diorama. When you finish, give the diorama to your teacher so that s/he can keep it in a safe place.
After you are finished creating your diorama, write an informative paragraph that explains the stage of life that your diorama represents. Discuss why you used the materials that you did and important aspects of the stage such as physical characteristics and where in the cycle the stage is.
